Parking Around the Convention Campus

There are several parking options just outside of the convention campus including privately-operated surface parking lots and metered street parking. The City of Houston's ParkHouston page has more information about metered parking and cashless payment options.

Convention Campus Parking Garages

Two on-campus parking garages, one of which is connected to the Marriott Marquis hotel via covered skybridge, offer convenient options for visitors. All campus garages are located within walking distance of the convention center and bike parking is available both Avenida North and Tundra Garages. ADA-accessible parking options are available.

Avenida Central Garage is temporarily closed, but will reopen Fall 2026. A new Avenida South Garage, located two blocks south of the convention center, will also open Fall 2026.

Campus Street Closures

Drivers may experience delays or restricted road access due to ongoing improvement projects in the area. Plan for extra travel time and check the Campus Street Closures Map and TxDOT NHHIP website for the most updated information.

Parking Rates

Use the ticket received upon entrance to pay for parking at any of the kiosks conveniently located by garage elevators. No cashier on duty.

Hourly rates begin at 2 am in all convention campus garages. Parking rates are subject to change by event or availability.

If event rates are in effect, they are posted outside of each garage and are paid upon entrance.

Parking Reservations

Plan ahead with reserved parking. It's fast, easy, and convenient.
